Election Scam Alert!

This week I got a letter marked “IMPORTANT VOTING INFORMATION FOR THE FEDERAL ELECTION.” It looked official - like it was from the AEC. But it wasn’t. It was political propaganda pretending to be government communication.
Unfortunately that’s not illegal to lie in politics. It should be. It is for corporations, but not for politicians. The major political parties don’t want it to me. That’s because they want to be able to lie to us.
This Liberal Party election scam is a trust hack - designed to trick voters into thinking it’s neutral information when it’s really party propaganda.
Let’s call it what it is: a scam tactic. Not currently criminal - but morally wrong.
So here’s my advice:
Throw it straight in the bin and get your election info from the real source - the AEC.
We deserve truth and transparency, not trickery.
Check out my video below for the full story.
We too received an official postal vote registration document, with a return envelope. The return envelope was suspicious because it was to a private post office box. In other words, it was as warned by the AEC, a deceptive practice where our personal information would be exposed to a political party. In this case the LNP. My advice. DON'T BIN THE RETURN ENVELOPE. Put some useful information in it, like how to vote for Clive Palmer and return the envelope. That way the organisers of this scam get to pay the postage, get to unstuff the envelope and get to read and dispose of paper based drivel.
Also got a message sent to my phone asking do I need to lodge a postal vote.. when I went through it it turned out to be a liberal party scam - see pic
